Mourinho Pleads With GFA
Over Essien’s Appearance At CAN 2008

AS WE reported a few weeks back, José Mourinho would miss the services of key men in his team. The acid-tongue but affable Portuguese coach says he would plead with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to allow Michael Essien to delay his trip to Ghana to play in the Africa Nations Cup to be hosted in Ghana from January 20 to February 10.

Sarfo Abebrese Acquitted
AN ACCRA Circuit Court, presided over by Justice N.E.K.Osam, on Wednesday acquitted and discharged Mr. Sarfo Abebrese and Alhaji Mohammed Tanko Salis, President and Ashanti Regional Organizer of the Supporters Union of Ghana (SUGHA).
