Is it the fault of the Ghanaian Woman to cheat…?
“When he cheats, it is normal, but when I cheat, then it is an abomination... this is not fair”

THESE WERE the exact words said by a lady I had the opportunity to interview after the husband threw her out of their matrimonial home for cheating on him. According to her, the husband has many girlfriends and sleeps with anything in a “skirt.” So she also decided to have fun with men in the area; this, she did to discourage her husband from doing that, but he continued to cheat on her.

Book Launch: “Anatomy of Rumour Mongering In Ghana”
YOU MIGHT have read and seen everything about Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. From the winning of Independence to his detention in Hanoi and subsequently his death as Head of State. But that is not all. There are certain facts that Ghanaians are not aware of and that is what Dr. Matthew Narh Tetteh’s “Anatomy of Rumour Mongering in Ghana” seeks to establish.

Kwabena Agyepong
I Stand for Firmness and Inspiration

IT WAS Pastor Enoch Aminu who once wrote, “Never you fight your detractors physically, but work hard and let your results silence them.” This perhaps was what was on the mind of now 45-year-old Kwabena Adjei Agyepong when, at 20 when he was a first year university student full of hope and big dreams, lost his father. Kwabena’s father who was then a high court judge in Accra was abducted at mid-night and shot in cold blood.

The Things You Must Avoid In Life
"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me O God! How great is the sum of them" Psalm 139:7.

Dear friend, success will become a lot easier for you if you acquaint yourself with the scriptures and give God a place in your heart.

Study the scriptures, know God and the plans he has for your life.

While Others Are Celebrating Skyscrapers
And Under-Ground Trains,
We Are Celebrating Darkness Here.
Tsoo, Nyebro!

Nyebro, I am not amused at all. We have just celebrated the climax of Ghana @ 50 on 6th March, but ever since that climax, things have not been well at all on the energy front. The supply of electric power has been so erratic and so uncertain that I have started to re-live my days in Ondo State in Nigeria where I taught for a brief period in the past.

Follow Your Passion and Make Things Happen
“You are the opening verse of the opening page of the chapter of endless possibilities”
Rudyard Kipling

In his poem titled THE ROAD NOT TAKEN, Robert Frost wrote: “I shall be telling this with a sigh. Somewhere ages and ages hence; two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference”

What is Ghana @ 50?
On 6th March, 1957, Ghana became the first country in Africa south of the Sahara to gain independence from colonial rule. This year marks 50 years of that independence, hence the celebrations.

Nkoranza North Tricky for NPP, NDC
TO ALL intents and purposes, the Nkoranza North by-lection, which is slated for March 13, is going to be one of the toughest ever fought in the country’s political history. Both the general picture of the Brrong Ahafo region and the short history of Nkoranza North strongly suggest they are swing constituencies and not quite predictable.

Run Baby Run, A Must See Film
Last week I reported that if you are the type who had vowed not to watch any movies from Ghanaian producers or directors then, revise your notes because a new Ghanaian production was set to blow your mind. The 128 minute feature film ‘Run Baby Run’ (RBR) directed by Emmanuel Apea jr. is certainly a must see film. The movie is a complete departure from the others that we see on our screens every day of the week. Those who had the privilege of watching the film over the weekend will agree with me.
