Stars of the Future II Eviction End of the Road for Isaac Nortey
It was a night of intense pressure
and anxiety as the twelve
contestants in this year’s Stars of
the Future competition sat glued to
their seats at the national theatre
in Accra awaiting the results of the
public voting to determine who was
going home. Watching closely the
faces of the contestants during the
first eviction of this year’s
competition, as shown on TV last
Wednesday, it was obvious that
nerves were at its weakest point
and knees would easily give up.

Stars of the Future 2007, The Search Has Began
HAVING HAD the opportunity to
watch a number of music talent
shows across the world, I have no
doubt in my mind that
Charterhouse, arguably the leading
production house in the country, is
on target to produce a world class
music star from a group of talented
young Ghanaians vying to be
Ghana’s ‘Star of the Future’. One
would not be far from right in
saying that all 12 semi-finalists of
this year’s Stars of the Future
competition are super talented and
each of them deserves to win.

It’s tough at the top! That’s what
24-year-old Benin City and political
science graduate Eric Arubayi
found out on Monday (May 14)
when the velvet voiced crooner
was eliminated from the M-Net

him, with the least votes gained
Eric is now out of the race for the

Knuckles Knocked Out Over Sex. Morality, (God’s Own Law) Is Urgently Needed In Public Life
The minister for presidential affairs in Liberia, Mr. Willis Knuckles, a married man of 37 years and a father of several adult children, was knocked out from his position a few weeks ago over a sex scandal. So, he is now unemployed. Poor him! The report that went out first in the foreign media suggested that Mr. Knuckles was compelled to resign because he had had sex with two women at the same time. The embarrassment (or is it rather shame?) that this unfortunate incident has caused Mr. Knuckles, his wife and his entire family is incalculable and indescribable.
