Coca Cola Controls 95% Market Share of Carbonated Soft Drinks
The General Manager and Chief
Operating Officer of the Coca Cola
Bottling Company of Ghana Limited,
CCBCLG, Mr. Segun Ogunsanya has
disclosed that Coca Cola controls 95
percent of the market share of
carbonated soft drinks in the country.
He said in spite of this they are not
getting complacent but rather working
hard to satisfy its customers.

Ghana’s Currency Regime not Supportive of Business Transactions
The Governor of the Bank of Ghana,
Dr. Paul Acquah, has observed that in
spite of the steady progress the
economy has made over these past
years, especially on price and
currency stability which have had
positive responses of the economy to
both policy and structural reforms,
“we still live in a regime in which
prices continue to carry the effects of
long periods of inflation”.

The Credit Reporting Bill is Now Law
The Credit Reporting Bill received
Presidential Assent on April 27, 2007
after its passage by Parliament. The
purpose of the Credit Reporting Act
(Act 726) is to provide a legal and
regulatory framework for credit
reporting in Ghana.
